Despina Necklace

Despina, in ancient Greek “Δέσποινα, Déspoina” means “mistress” or “queen”. Under this first name, we know, in Greek mythology, the nymph Despina, daughter of Poseidon and Demeter, she was the sister of Arion or Areion. In astronomy, Despina is the name of the third moon of Neptune thus named in honor of the nymph.
